Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to act, direct production, create plays as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father hails from Britain, while her mother is a "Turkish English-Cypriot expat." Anna's first memories of attending rehearsals for play as well as watching her mother's work. As a child, she appeared in several commercials. Anna was transferred to Toronto in November of 1999, to pursue her acting talents. Then, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in a Los Angeles actors' workshop at the end of 2007, became her husband in 2009. They married in a civil ceremony that December and renew their vows during the form of a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton in April of 2011 in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism. Bo and Lauren's love story (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured in CNN's top television couple list. They also were named in the 2013 edition of E! as the top television couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social networks grew as a result of the series.
