Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English and part Spanish. Their parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an native Argentine of Scottish as well as English origin is her mother. The mother of her is Spanish-English. The Taylor-Joy family was a household of six children. Four of her siblings are who were born from the same marriage as Taylor's dad. The family she grew up with was in Buenos Aires from the time she was 6 years old up until the day they left for Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy stated that the relocation was difficult as she refused to take classes in English since she was hoping to go back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed from Northlands towards Hill House. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. In the year she turned 16 she quit school to pursue a full-time career in acting. From a young age Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to pursue a career as an actress. her goals were realized when she received an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
